“The most relaxing warm friendly welcoming place in skiathos”
Well we have just returned after our 15th visit to skiathos and indeed to the Skiathos Argento and I really felt i had to write a up to date review. Please if you have been before and enjoyed the lovely relaxed friendly welcoming atmosphere are you are thinking of visiting for the 1st time then i must say to you go you will be amazed. Has i have already said we have been many times and loved each and every visit. But this year when we arrived we could not believe our eyes they have made some beautiful changes to the pool area the pool it's self and well the studios are just gorgeous the work they have done throughout the winter for those of you who have been before well you will be amazed it is beautiful. But some things don't change the warm friendly welcome you receive off of all the family is still the same they are the best nothing is too much trouble. I have to give a special mention to Maggie who does the bar and generally helps all the guests has much as she can well she is lovely she does as much as she can to help you have a fantastic holiday so a big big thank you Maggie on behalf of all the guests. Then we have the family with Marialena who is lovely and warm and welcoming and as with Maggie nothing is too much bother. Then we haveSkiathos Argento and of course the lovely Sofia in fact the entire family will help you relax and slip into your perfect holiday. And for those for whom it is your first visit I can guarantee it will not be your last. And finally the kolios area has some of the best tavernas and restaurants in skiathos with the diamond about 100 metres down from the Skiathos Argento and then a bit further down is the infinity blue both have really good tasty Greek menus. And opposite the diamond is the manos supermarket. So just to finish my review I must say with after visiting many Islands and many accommodations in Greece we have found perfection and as I have said once you have been to skiathos and the gorgeous Skiathos Argento you will be hooked so it just leaves me to say have the best holiday ever and if you are ever at the Skiathos Argento in June come and say yiasou to Sam and Sue yiamas.Sam N. “A Real Gem - But don't Tell Everyone”
We stumbled on this accommodation when surfing the internet to find a 'last minute' room at very short notice. My wife and I have been visiting Skiathos on and off for the past 20 years and invariably found a room close to the beaches in Koukounaries. There were none available on this occasion so we had to venture in-land a little and take a punt on a place 'in the country' - and what a Gem it was. Totally unpretentious, but absolutely charming, clean, quiet and wonderfully refreshing. The room was simply laid out and lacked nothing of necessity and the gardens and adjoining olive groves with grazing sheep were very pleasant and pleasing to the eye as we sipped a G&T on our balcony. The covered bar with its slightly dated furniture complemented the small pool area and access to the main route to town was down a narrow winding lane along which there was a small super market and several well appointed restaurants all within a five minute stroll of each other, doubtless we will return so long as our 'little secret hideaway' is kept under wraps for a while!Bolas166 Havant in Hampshire
“Another enjoyable stay”
Once again we as a family enjoyed our stay at the Skiathos Argento, this is where we spent our second week on Skiathos. On arrival we had a warm welcome from Maggie, Maria and family, the apartments are in a lovely location looking out over the olive groves towards the sea, a very tranquil peaceful location, they are kept spotlessly clean, serviced every day, you get a nice breeze through the balcony doors, small basic kitchen but sufficient for most needs, one can get breakfast, lunch and a light evening meal here very reasonably priced, the gardens are so pretty and well kept, a few mins walk to the friendly supermarket, and five mins to the bus stop ,slight incline on the way back from the road,Kolios beach is a further walk down hill. A good selection of tavernas within 10 -15 mins walk at Agi Paraskevi, The Infinity Blue is at the bottom of the lane ,which is excellent. Lovely walks if you turn right outside the Skiathos Argento with spectacular views at the top.Thankyou Maggie, Maria and family for another wonderful holiday. Room Tip: The rooms on the top floors have the best viewsHairset Mid Glam
“Skiathos Argento Kolios”
Just got back from another fantastic holiday at Skiathos Argento in Kolios Skiathos although we have been there thirteen times it always feels like the first the whole island has so much to offer. Skiathos Argento is a family run apartment block and they cannot do too much for you, the whole complex is kept immaculate the rooms are spacious & kept so clean. The hostess with the mostess is Maggie who will try to make your stay Skiathos Argento so good and will help in anyway she can. The family is fronted by Marilena who with her family have a fabulous apartment block Sophia makes the best breakfast & Marta has been trained (by Maggie) the best Mojito. It can be booked via Thomas Cook or private whatever your preference you will not be disappointed. Room Tip: All rooms are good but we prefer the 3rd floor for the view down the Olive Grove.Dave M Barrow-in-Furness, United Kingdom
“Amazing studios in great quite location”
Currently staying at Skiathos Argento and fully agree with "TheHappening" review that it is impossible not to like this accommodation, Maggie, Maria, Sofia, Theodora and other members of the Greek Family that we see several times every day. We have stayed here upwards of 5 times and have never had an issue with anything that made us feel even slightly disappointed with booking this accommodation. Pool and bar area as well as the rooms are kept spotlessly clean. Meals at the pool bar are excellent and great value for money. The pool bar is normally open all day and evening and has a great atmosphere for making new friends if you wish. As most people have commented it is in a superb location with little noise at night. The position gives you a great choice of tavernas both within yards of the accommodation or 10-15 mins stroll to agi paraskevi. Getting the bus or taxi from the end of the lane gets you both ways up the island for beaches and Skiathos town for meals. Room Tip: Good view from top floor rooms, nice gardens on ground floor rooms to sit outThe Norts
